I hate UOs, and FFFC, and whatever else other boards do.  The reason we all get along on this board is because we don't do this.  Invariably I end up thinking less of posters once their UOs come to light.

I don't like them either.

Plus it seems to me that people don't give true UO most of the time. Usually they just make stupid judgmental comments.  No one every makes a true confession. Lame.

Eh, when it's just an UO about diaper prints, it seems pretty harmless.

I stopped reading the UO thread on the 6-9 board all together about a month ago.  It's purpose is to hurt people's feelings and stir up drama.  Because inevitably someone says something that someone else takes offense to or that hurts someone's feelings and there have been several that have gone too far.  And then whoever posted it usually says well that's why it's a UO!  Great reasoning!

I think that UOs in general are pretty dumb; they just seem like a way to stir up drama when people are bored (and somehow this board never seems to be lacking drama for long).  I think the one about diaper prints is harmless, but a lot of the ones I've seen on other boards are borderline trolling.

Also, Pixy - I highly recommend "dictator-for-life" over "dictator."  Maybe I've just been reading too much Calvin and Hobbes lately, though.

Sometimes they are harmless and even funny. I like think (insert ugly celebrity is cute)  but people are trying to stir the pot with them most of the time and like I said before some people don't know where to draw the line.  Someone posted one in 6-9 the last one I read before I stopped that she was glad that her baby had hair because she thought bald babies were weird looking.  (you are aware that you are on a message board with a lot of babies, a lot of bald babies, right?).  

 Someone came on once just to tell us that SAHM are weak and can't handle it if they don't work.  

I'm probably not much better for telling you guys about these but it feels good to complain about them!
