F/u to Frustration with toys

So it appears that it's just certain objects that frustrate him rather than a general type of thing. 

Yesterday I got out our soaker hose to see if it would work to water my garden.  It was a risk because our regular hose is one of his weird frustrations. It was 4 segments long but I only needed 3.  Apparently the un-needed segment is DS's new best friend.  He dragged it all over the house yesterday and even went to bed with one end of it in his hand.  This morning he ate breakfast and got dressed while holding on to it.  

Things were not pretty when it was time to get into the car.  He wanted to take his hose with him to school!  I think he's okay with it because it's lightweight so he can drag it where ever he goes.  Also, two ends fit together fairly easily so he can connect and unconnect them without help.
