Diapers on registry?

My first shower is on the 26th, so I'm tidying up my Babies R Us registry and wondering... should I register for diapers? I thought I would put at least one pack on there to let people know my preferred brand, but should I do more? This doesn't seem tacky, does it? So tell me... did you put diapers on your registry, and if so, how many and in what sizes? Thanks, ladies!

Yep, I put diapers on mine.  I thought it would be good to let people know what brand i'd like to have, and what sizes, so I don't end up with too much of one size or something.  So I registered for Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive, Sizes 1, 2, and 3-3 packs each and 2 packs of Size 0.  At my work shower, I ended up with two large boxes of diapers, too.

Being a first-timer, and not knowing yet which brand or brands are going to work best on my LOs bum, I actually registered for one package of size 1 & one package of size 2 diapers, for pretty much every brand that was available. LOL I also included almost all of the CD options since I'm looking to hopefully switch to cloth (or at least try it out for a while)...anything I end up not liking or wont use, I'll try to return; if I cant return I'll donate them.

I absolutely put diapers & wipes on mine.

I put sizes newborn - 5 on my registry and I registered for 5 packs of each. I did that many bc I know that once someone purchases them from BRU it places them at the bottom of the registry as already purchased so no one else can see what you kind you want.

I put one pack of NB in Huggies and Pampers, one pack of Size one in Huggies and Pampers, 2 packs in Size 2, and 2 packs of Size 3.

I am cloth diapering so I put them on my registry so people would know that and not buy me disposables. I'm not expecting people to buy diapers for me, I just didn't want to end up with a ton of disposables and this way they are on there for the completion coupon.

I am going to be using the Amazon Mom diaper delivery service (it is super convenient and costs less than buying them at the store) but registered for 2 of the Pampers Swaddlers diaper and wipes bins at BRU so that if people really want to buy diapers they know what kind I am using. The bins will come in handy for storage for all the clothes I am buying in bigger sizes as well as when LO outgrows the smaller sizes. This is our first baby so I will be packing away most of the clothes in case Squirt #2 is also a boy.
