I'm just thinking ahead here. My baby shower is sunday. I put on both my registries that we are exclusively CDing but just in case was wondering if there was anywhere you could return disposable diapers, especially without a receipt. I have friends having babies so if all else I can give them away. I just have a feeling a lot of people haven't even looked at our registry and therefore won't know we aren't using disposables. Would like to use them for something if possible.

Re: returning disposables
WalMart: Sometimes. Depends on your particular store. If it is in their database then they will take it. Sometimes it has to be on a store credit. My WalMart took everything I didn't want from my baby shower no questions asked.
Target: Sometimes. I think you need a nice clerk there. Or depends on your local one.

Walmart.
I too am worried about getting disposables as well seeing as I am strictly CD'ing too. As long as they are unopened you should be able to return them.
