My second stupid question of the day...

So I have to prep my newborn stash and get it put away.  I have one hemp prefold that was supposed to be prepped before being sent to me.  I have no idea how to tell if it was for sure.  Is there a way to tell?

As for the second part of the stupid question, can I just prep it with all of my other prefolds or should I put it in with the fitteds and pockets/aios for just a wash or 2?

I only ever used pockets, mostly BG 3.0s with DD, so I'm kind of lost!

I would pour a small amount of water on it and if it beads up it needs to be prepped.  If it absorbs quickly it has been prepped.  The thing I like about prefolds is that the more you wash them the more absorbent they get so it won't necessarily go from unprepped to prepped in one wash.

Since it's just one prefold you can boil it to be sure. Some people prep hemp this way. I would boil it for 15 mins and then wash it with your other prefolds, couldn't hurt.
