DD just gave me a heart attack

We're transitioning DD out of her swaddle blanket so today I put her in a lightweight wearable blanket for her nap.  Just in the last few days, DD has started rolling back to tummy, but can't yet figure out how to go tummy to back.  Well, I went up to check on DD after I'd put her down for her nap, and of course, she was laying on her tummy.  My heart jumped into my throat and I raced over to check her, putting my ear down to her head.  She was sleeping peacefully, mouth wide open and drooling, like her daddy.

DS just started being a belly sleeper last week. I put him on his back and he rolls over immediately. It's helping him sleep better which is great but I think sometimes he wakes and forgets that he knows how to roll back if he wants to, lol.

I know what you mean - my DD sleeps so soundly on her stomach, like doesn't move at all. For the first little while my stomach dropped through the floor when I would nudge her to make sure she was ok. And then I would go back to bed and lie there like this .

Ella hasnt rolled over either way yet but she is very close to rolling back to belly. I went in and checked up on her in her crib last night and she was almost* on her belly. I got kind of nervous wondering if she was going to do it in her sleep and not be able to flip back over. She has great head control though so I try not to freak out about it

Well, the update is that DD woke up after like 45 minutes, realized she was stranded on her belly, and started screaming bloody murder.  I haven't been able to get her back to sleep yet.  I'm hoping she learns real fast how to go belly to back so she doesn't have to scream for mom.
