stretch marks only on one side?

I've got some stretch marks -- but they are only on the left side of my belly! I have none, zero, on the right side. I have old ones on my hips (both sides) that are newly extending upwards, but the belly ones are new and only on the left. Weird? Anyone else experiencing this?

Mine were like that. Does your baby hang out on that side more? Perhaps he's stretching out the skin on that side more than the right. Unfortunately for me, my stretch marks moved across my belly. I now have them on the right side, too. Thankfully they are still below my belly button, but I don't see it staying that way. Stretchmarks are the devil.

OMG, me too... it's so weird. I have a tattoo on my left hip, but only have stretchmarks on my right side! This is so weird but I'm happy that my tattoo isn't ruined.

It does seem weird! I'm getting them on my left side as well! I get monthly sonograms to check for fetal growth (because of my high BP), and for the past two months the LO has been head down but angled with her feet pressing into my upper left side--that's where my stretch marks have formed. She has been pushing really hard in that spot!
