shower pan repair

anyone have to have their shower pan replaced?  about how much did it cost?  Did insurance pay for it?  HOw long for them to finsih the work?  what I thought was going to be a simple plumbing repair has turned into a nightmare.  Getting a estimate tommorow and just trying to get an idea how bad this is all going ot be.   TIA:-(

    Call our friend Justin and make sure to say you know me and DH.  He knocked off about $2k of what others were charging for our sewer overhaul.  Now, we know him personally but he will give you an honest rate and maybe a little discount for being our friend. :)
