got my Pho- but um help (Davez)

They gave me the broth in a plastic container and then everything else in a styrofoam take out container.  The meat (beef) wrapped in tinfoil.  The meat isn't cooked.  It is very thin slices of beef.  Do I put everything in the plastic container or do I pour the broth over the stuff in the styrofoam? How long til the beef cooks?

  • I usually dump the beef in the broth(it is usually very hot) and it cooks it.

We usually eat it at home so we put the noodles/meat (if we are having it) in a bowl then pour the hot broth over it.  It cooks very quickly.  Then we doctor with bean sprouts and herbs, plum sauce and lime.  Yum!!!

If you are out - like at your office, I'd put the beef in to the plastic container with the hot broth then add the extras.  You'll know when the meat is cooked because it looks cooked.  Shouldn't take more than a minute if the broth is very hot.
