I try not to intentionally start drama. But after reading through the previous post regarding the July Mamatutu co-op and then reading her last update on fb I'm annoyed. she writes:
"mamas, I MAY be going to the CHICAO POLICE ACADEMY at the end of July. IF this is the case I will NOT be accepting any more co-ops. I closed the co-ops in the notes section as soon as I found out this was an option. I can not and will not take on work that I will not be able to reasonably accomplish. (con't)"
I'm not even a part of the July co-op and I am annoyed, especially since mamas have sent her fabric already and have been under the impression that it was going to happen.
Re: Can I stir the pot? Re: mamatutu
I commented on FB...
::running off to FB::
Ditto... I *AM* in the July co-op and am not happy about all this bs... I saw the original post a little bit ago and the comment she made about (paraphrasing) "some of you are already in the planning stages, but no promises until I accept payment..."

I would consider accepting fabric to be essentially the same as accepting a down payment, only there's no way to file a pp dispute (is there?). Also, I would be very angry.
hehe I like your comment
I too hope that those that have bought/sent fabric get things straightened out but I honestly wouldn't mind if she canceled the co-op even though I really wanted to print I was going to get, I'm really not a fan of this crap.....
This.
this exactly
The funny thing is, while she says she won'taccept money for something she isn't sure she can do, she made paying early an option. If the group had decided to go that route, payment would have already been made.
Hopefully she does the professional thing and contacts our group rep directly to explain what can be expected and what she will do for the mamas who've already sent fabric.
I bought a 1981 from her via HC auction for around $35 like 2 months ago for my girlie NIP stash. It seems nice enough but obviously we've never used it.
Me too. I don't reall want my june co-op diaper because of this and all the other bs.
unless everyone in the co-op wanted out I wouldnt do it, not fair to the mamas who still want their diaper
Even though I don't want it I also don't want to put others in a position where they feel they have to cancel even though they still want theirs since others want out. Does that make sense?
No one knows as she's been vague in inquiries as to the status of the co-op order thus far.
I love the fact that someone posted "Im SURE your co-op girls will be happy for you, support you and understand"
Like she is already putting on her armor.
I swear-CD mamas get so attached to some WAHMs that they get way too personally involved. Great she is moving on to better things but she really has an obligation to finish what she started. Maybe I am jumping to conclusions (I am not even IN the coop) but some mamas drive me up THE WALL with this BS.
I am very tempted to email her...
Not really. How would you cancelling your order effect anyone else?
That was very obvious. I would be willing to bet it was already discussed in another supersecret group before she posted it.
Maybe pricing based on the size of the co-op? If people started dropping, she might charge more per diaper?
Ha ha, me too. If her numbers drop she will notice.
I thought we got a discount for being a co-op and having a certain # of diapers in the order - though I could be wrong, I didn't organize. I assume if enough people backed out it would negate the discount therefor affecting the other mamas. At least thats what was happening in my head.
and now my head is telling me that it will piss her off and could affect the quality or her professionalism.
Not to beat around the bush, but I think the quality of her professionalism has been suspect for a while now.
well, yes. I was thinking more along the lines of asking to cancel our orders, her saying they are already done or almost done. Then having an "all night sewing and snapping party" to get them finished in a sub par fashion to ship out so she doesnt have to refund money and lose business......but I digress.....
Same here. I'm just pissed because I try to space out my fluff purchases, and I've kind of held off buying other stuff knowing I was paying for this later this month. Also, I was excited because I wanted an overnight fitted with a microfleece inner. Sure, kind of stupid reasons to be mad, but still...I am
Don't do it, hp, just don't do it.
you have been very persuasive. i will not do it. lol.
LMAO!!!
I seriously doubt that she has started the June order. She is still working on the SYOF diapers which are May orders. It woudl be pretty BS of her to delay the May orders to start on June ones.
