So, I was stalking your blog this morning and was hoping you could give me the recipe for the sweet potato pancakes and the waffles.  Thanks!

Re: *magdusia

  • The ones i used is from THIS recipe but i remember them not coming out that well... I think i made them too thick and they weren't really done on the inside.  i remember peeling the outer layer and putting it back on the pan lol.

Recently i made a regular pancake mix (the bisquick white box mix) and just added pureed sweet potatoes into the mix and i liked it so much better.

  • Thanks!  I hate having to use her formula to sub for the milk.  It makes it taste like crap, but I guess she is used to the taste!

  • can you use oats milk?  i think water may work too.  I know it works with regular pancakes.. if we don't have milk (pre baby) in the house, i just used water.

No.  She is allergic to oats, rice, dairy, soy, coconut, and almonds, so no milk options.  I asked the allergist about Hemp milk, but he said to stay away.  There is that new Flaxseed milk that is sold at Wal-Mart.  I will have to ask the allergist at her appointment on Friday about that one!

    WOW! I'm sorry!

try using water and perhaps mix in some flaxseed meal for a thicker consistency and see if it comes out.
