I'm back on track. Well, not really. I didn't eat breakfast until 11:30. That sucks. Breakfast is KEY to starting the day right and it's important to have protein within 60 minutes of waking -- so that stinks. I had two pieces of cinnamon raisin toast and a cheese stick. So not horrible but not ideal, and not early enough in the day.
Had a salad with a hard boiled egg and some chicken chunks (for protein) for lunch.
Just had chocolate almonds for snack.
Not sure on dinner.
Yesterday was horrible -- Wendy's for lunch and Friendly's sundae after dinner. (Dinner was good -- steak, salad and yellow squash). I was feeling sorry for myself and ate my way through it!
I NEED exercise. NEED IT! I know this. I just won't allow myself to do this, fully anyway. Someday. That's what they tell me...someday it will click. I'm still waiting! I have Cam's graduation tonight so not sure what time we are getting home AND it's a pizza party. UGH! I will limit myself to 1-2 slices (because, let's be real, I could eat at least 5!). But the limiting will be easy -- I don't like eating in front of other people and there will be other parents there. I'm hoping we are home by 7:30 so we can do a 1mile walk/bike ride around the block.
You are doing good!! Exercise doesn't doshit for my weight but it helps with my brain. And I guess that helps my weight... but really it makes me very hungry!!

My body just responds to exercise. Every time I have lost weight, it's been due to working my butt off, literally. The inactivity of sitting behind a desk all day just does not do well for my metabolism.
But yes, I think it's psychological too. I just FEEL better when I exercise. Which, in turn, makes me want to eat less (you know, don't want to mess up the workout I just did)! It does make me hungry too -- but then my choices tend to be better. And add in the water that I tend to drink when exercising. I SUCK at drinking water. I bet if I did drink 48oz/day for one week - I would lose about 10lbs. I just don't ever drink anything....my morning coffee and that's it for the day. SO BAD!
