DH and I are thinking about TTC again our DS is Carter Michael. We did not agree on any girl names before, we have a whole list of boy names. Do you like any of these for a girl?

Briella

Brinlee

Demi

Hayden

Everlie

Sorry, not a fan of any of them.

Briella = umbrella

Brinlee = not a real name with trendy "lee" ending that will date the name

Demi = just NMS

Hayden = please no more of these

Everlie = I read "ever lie"

Briella- Sounds like a smooch name of Bree and Ella, not a fan

Brinlee- Very cutesy

Demi- nms, but not a bad name

Hayden- very, very trendy, she would be one of many amongst -ayden names of both boys and girls

Everlie- Not popular on this board but I do like it, I think I like Everly better, but as long as you don't go with Everleigh, this would be my choice

Everly is my #1 right now (spelled like this). I'm trying to like something else bc it's a bit unique, but I love it.

Demi - not bad

Hayden - very trendy

Brinlee/Brielle - cute, don't love, but ok

I like Carter Michael! None of your girl names are really my style but I like Demi and Everly best. Everly being my choice if I got to choose.

Demi makes me think Demi Moore, but I doubt her generation will make that connection right away. Maybe Demi Lavato haha? I like Everly, but spelt this way or Everleigh if you must. When I read Everlie, I see Ever lie.

A co-worker named her daughter Hayden (she is like 9 now) and the girl HATES it. Says kids ask her why she has a boy's name. I don't like it for boys or girls, but just something to think about if you are loving it.

All of your names seem kind of trendy and cutesy to me. But maybe that's the style you were going for. If I had to pick one, I'd pick Demi. (But would you pronounce it DE-mee or de-MEE?)

Do not like any of these. Hayden is masculine, not to mention another terrible -ayden variation. Brinlee is too made up. I suppose if I have to choose, I'd pick Everlie.

Thanks! I love Demi but DH thinks its a stripper name we would use Jade or Kate as the mn for any of these. I also really like Harper but I dont think it sounds good with Carter.

Love Demi. Probably wouldn't use it myself, but it's adorable.

Briella is okay. Not my favorite, but not the worst. Hayden is a boy's name IMO. Brinlee is really terrible. Everlie is okay when spelled Everly, but I really don't like Everlie.
