Travel High Chair

I was wondering if anyone has a travel high chair they recommend. The babies are just 1 and we have some outings coming up. I'd really like a travel high chair that won't take up too much space in the car, is easy to set up, and offers good support. Anyone use anything they like?

Thanks for your recommendations!

Re: Travel High Chair

  • We have these Fisher Price Healthy Boosters and LOVE them! They come with a carrying strap. We used these in restaurants when the girls were just learning to sit up and needed extra support. I keep one in the van in case a restaurant doesn't have two high chairs available. They're also our everyday highchairs at home.

  • I cannot for the life of me think of hte brand but do not get the kind that is a chair that collapses like those chairs that adults often use for camping/tailgating/etc... we got 2 last year for vacation when they were 1 and they were really awesome, we loved them....then they got a little older & we were pulling them up to the table instead of using trays and we took them away for the holidays and discovered they are too low to be pulled up to a table & my kids were not used to eating on a tiny tray anymore so now we pretty much have no use for them. very frustrating... :(

    These - they are great.

We now use them in our house for meals, too - got rid of the regular high chairs b/c they took up so much room.

they are easy to unstrap when we need to take them somewhere - family dinners, BBQs, etc - we bring them all over.

The Me Too chairs are great but need to connect to a table- which we don't like to do at private homes - we use those at restaurants all the time- they are awesome b/c they fold flat - we keep them in the car at all times.

I used to be Goldie_locks_5 but the new nest is so screwed up that I was forced to start over.

We have these also.  I keep both in the car at all times.  We've used them at restaurants, at Nana's, for picnics, etc...  They're great!

  • Ditto the boosters.  Very space-saving compared to high chairs!

Ditto.  We actually just got a second set so we have one in our dining area and one for the table on our screened in porch.  Oh yeah, we also have a set out in California with family for when we visit.  They are fabulous!!!
