Does anyone see Dr. Pitt in Riverview/Brandon?

I sort of chose Dr. Pitt on a whim when it came time for my annual exam. She seemed nice enough at the time, but when I went back in to start infertility testing, she just seemed rushed and more annoyed at having to talk to me than anything else. I've seen a bad review of her bedside manner during obstetrical care, so I'm wondering if anyone had seen her and could give me their two cents.

  • Dr. Jones is the best one there. Dr.Pitt and Dr. Watkins act like you are there to waste their time. IDK if looking into another office is doable but I did after a had my daughter. Lets just say the Dr. that was at the hospital had to be paged 6 times and didn't even make it in the room to deliever my daughter. When I called to schedule my follow up and they asked me which Dr. delievered I said none I got " oh that happens all the time, what Dr. was written on your chart"

  • Wow.  Thanks for letting me know. I only chose that office because it's literally less than five minutes from my house, but there's no way I'm putting up with that. Time to find a new doctor, quick!

Edit: May I ask who you see now? I'd love a good reference if you have one!

  • Before I had my daughter I was seeing Dr. Pitt. I also chose them because I live close. I had never had that great of an experience with them so as soon as I found out I was pregnant I switched. I now go to Women's Health Care Florida. It's farther (out at TGH), but they were the best and took so much time with me during each appointment.

  • My husband's coworker just had a baby and recommended Dr. Zweibach. I made an appointment at his office for confirmation and blood work, so hopefully I like them. I'm really disappointed that I'm having to shop around for an OB after getting pregnant, but at least I have time to decide rather than trying to find someone new at delivery.

Oh, well then I'm glad I chose that office!

  • I have gone to OBGYN & Assoc since I was 18 and have had 2 babies delivered with them, and am halfway done baking baby number 3. Dr Armas delivered my oldest, he has a very firm but not hard bedside manner... I was only 20 and is probably what I needed at the time to push me through it. Dr Pitt delivered my youngest and was amazing... I had a few abnormal paps and procedures done prior to this pregnancy, all with Dr Pitt but in the Plant City office... I love all of the doctors there, but can say that the time spent with you in Brandon, the few times I have gone is a much more rushed atmosphere than what I experience in Plant City which is a smaller office... so maybe that has something to do with it! I also delivered both at BRH and had wonderful experiences both times and looking forward to another one as well! Good luck however you decide to move forward! :-)
