Parenting after 35

Anyone interested in a FB PA35 Group?

Would anyone be interested in a FB PA35 Group?  Or maybe there already is one?

  • I know a few ladies on here are FB friends.

Personally, I am still leery of FB and am very careful who I "friend."   I pretty much stick to family and very personal friends only.  People I've known in real life for years.  Things can just get too out of hand there.   This bump board is enough for me.

No offense intended to you internet friends, but I kind of like being anonymous here, for the most part.   I do share some personal info and a few pictures, but that's about it.

  • I totally get it. I'm surprised at myself for even gauging interest in something like that. I'm typically a very private person & my FB is very private, too.  I have less than 60 FB "friends", and they're all family & personal friends.

  • I am FB friends with several women from this board, but I've been pretty (and probably TOO) open with internet message boards over the years. Actually, a dear friend of mine is someone I met via author Nora Roberts official message board (which I moderate, as does she) and my family attended her wedding last month. She came to mine, 3 years ago.

That being said, I do tend to only friend people who I've interacted frequently with.

  • UPDATE---now hearing that good ole Rep. Weiner got himself in this big pickle over some FB "friendships," I'm even more convinced!!   HAHAHAHHAHA

Love all of you ladies, but I think I'll stick with chatting on this board and not venturing too far into reality with ya'll.   :)

When DD was a newborn, I joined a Mom's group, and joined the FB page, as they posted meeting topics there.  Since I no longer go to this group due to working, I am in the process of unfriending some people from this group.  So while this is a good idea in theory, not everyone is interested in being private, like this message board.   Thanks for thinking of us!!
