We are considering naming baby girl Reilly (different spelling because it is a family name). I am attached to it for personal reasons (it's my mom's maiden name), but it seems to be growing in popularity (Riley is).
What do you think? It may not matter because DH and I cannot agree on any names except this one, but I don't want her to have a super popular name.
Re: Do you think "Riley" is too popular?
If it's sentimental, I would definitely go with it!
Random Tidbit: When I was in college, I had a class where the professor had us introduce ourselves and say who/what/where we got our names. It definitely made me want to give my children meaningful names!
I love it but that is because my 3 year old DD is Riley Annalise. i say go for it !! If you love it that's all that counts.
