Infertility Veterans

***UMichGirl***

Hi-

Sorry i never answered ur acu questions, so here they are :)

I have done acu for over a yr at this point.  I started before my 1st IVF, and then continued 1x a week until I cycled again.  Now i am averaging 2-3x a wk.  The 3rd time a week is bc i didn't respond.

My clinic is neutral on acu....but i am a believer in it.  I did get preg on my 1st IVF, and i think it helped.  I find it relaxes me as well.

As for the electro acu, i only did it bc i had really NO response to meds until my 7th day of stims.  So the acu recommended it.  It isn't painful...but it is awkward.  The needles are hooked up to a machine, and are shaking for about 45 mins.  It moves a lot of stuff around, so ur belly can get sore after it.  Also I have lots of injection bruises in the area too.

GL!!!!!
