If you took lupron/menapur

If you took lupron and menapur during an IVF cycle -at the same time. How often did you go in for blood work and ultrasounds.

Today is day 2 of my cycle and I had blood work done, am still waiting to see how many times a day I need to take the lupron and how much.

Want to see what other Re's do.

I wanted to try to answer you although I am no expert.  I am just in the process of my first IVF cycle but will be taking both of these drugs.  I think your questions are difficult to answer as it all depends on how your body reacts to the drugs and everyone is different.  Your RE should have some plan of dosage and timeline so I would check with them but it can all change depending on your body's response to the drugs.

I agree with the previous post. I took Lupron and menopur for my first IVF and it is based upon how your body is responding. BUt to give you an idea. I started my injections of 10ml of Lupron and 2 vials of menopur on April 6th. I went 5-6 times to the RE to get tested while one the Lupron and Menopur, as it was closer to my ER I went everyday (3 days in a row). Hope this helped.

Like the ladies have stated.  Every body is differant.  I knwo for me I went in at 1st once every 4 days and bu the end of it I was in there every day getting blood work untill 2 days before ER.  It just depends on how your body acts to the meds.
