Thank you! Physically I am feeling awesome - better than I have in MONTHS. I don't think I had any idea of just how bad I felt for so long. The symptoms I had were similar to IBS or colitis, and were just so chronic and discomforting that I was pretty run down, despite exercise and eating well. Now I feel like I sleep better and have more energy, so we've been super active and having lots of fun.
Of course.... that will probably slow down a LOT starting next week when I begin chemo. So that's a bummer. I feel so healthy now, that it's hard to get amped for poisoning my body for six months. But obviously we need to take the long view, right? So, yeah. Some times this is tough emotionally but for the most part we're both taking a "head down, power through" kind of approach. I'll work on the psychology later, know what I mean?
Thanks again for asking!

It's great that you have this chance for renewed energy before you go in for the chemo! Positive attitude means so so much. Chemo can be awful and but other people seem to do okay. Hopefully you are one of the lucky ones who does okay with it!
It makes me so happy to hear that you are feeling good right now. But I am still pissed that they didn't figure this out sooner and you had to feel like that for a long time!
