He requested a paternity test.  Guess he enjoys wasting time and money.

    My ex requested one too. He only did it to push back the court date but it still hurt my feelings.

    Also when I was getting swabbed, the man asked if he had swabbed me and my baby before. Lol It was awkward.

    Don't take it personally.  Usually the one defense a guy has is he or she isn't mine.

    I knew it was coming.  My lawyer told me it was likely and is what he would advise if he was his client.  But it's pushes back us getting this resolved, takes up my time, and is overall a PITA.  And it sucks that we're struggling financially and he won't help until we get a CO, but he's wasting several hundred dollars on this.  I wasn't expecting less, it still just sucks.

    We had to do a paternity test as well, and DD and I got swabbed first. They couldn't track EX down for a while, but once they had his sample I got the results 2 weeks later. As long as all parties are on top of things it won't take too long.

    How exactly will we have to do it?  Do you go to a doctor's office or something?

    Usually you go to a place like Lab Corps. I know someone who did it, and they were in and out in 10 minutes.

    We went to the med foundation.  If you use DNA Diagnostics they will tell you where the closest location is.  Ours took a little over 30 minutes because we were used as training for the new lab techs.

    The people who took the samples came to the CS office to take them and sent them away and we got the results 2 weeks later.

    Agreed. Not only is he questioning your fidelity but he's insinuating that he may not want to have anything to do with LO.  Like he could just shut that off or something. Lame.
