Why won't my signature work?

I've tried the HTML code, the non-HTML code, and I still can't get my ticker to post in my signature.  Can someone help?

    Still won't work!  I'm so confused!  I'm using a ticker from thebump.com and nada.  Any ideas?

    No symbols in my screenname, so I'm not sure what it is.  Thanks for your help--your instructions are really good.  I'll keep trying.

    Yep!  Clicked on "Save Signature" and still nada.  Also, I uploaded a photo for my avatar and it's not showing either.  I cannot figure out for the life of me what I'm doing wrong.

    AHA!!!!  I'm a GENIUS!!!  I somehow created two usernames (?!?!?) and I kept posting the siggy and avatar under one username, but I was somehow posting under the other username.  I have no idea how I did that, but I'm so glad I've finally figured it out!  Damn pregnancy hormones had me irrationally angry about this.  Ha!  Thanks for your help, Ambsies!

    how did you figure it out? i'm not new to the bump but i am having the same problem. i stopped posting for a while and now all of a sudden i can't update my siggy. my "username" that i created works great on the knot forums but my bump forum name is the one i have always used and i cant change my siggy or avatar associated with that name
