Just curious on how much you pay for full time or part time child care?
Im asking because im thinking of watching 1 or 2 kids in my home. I have over 11 years experience in child care, worked at many large centers in the past and I am updated in CPR and First Aide. I feel that I can offer what a center would offer to each family but I would be able to work one on one with each family to make sure each child is getting 100% of what they need out of what is offered. And I would be willing to work with each family so they get the care that they should be getting. Im a single parent so I know money is tight for everyone so I dont want to be asking for too much or too little that I wont be taken seriously.
If it matters im in the Franklin area.
TIA
Re: In home day care question
I think what you charge will depend a lot on if you are licensed. Are you planning to get licensed by the state? If you are not licensed then I am not sure if parents can use the tax savings of their dependent care accounts. At tax time I ask my daycare provider for her tax ID number. Just something to keep in mind.
