I'm 19 weeks pregnant with boy/girl twins - our first (and most likely only) children. I've been brainstorming nursery designs and looking at crib bedding, and I've been very frustrated at the options that are out there.
What I want is a very vivid, colorful Hawaiian/undersea theme - turquoises and aquas, not sage green and baby blue. It's hard to find that sort of thing without it looking like baby colors. I want it suitable for babies, but more of a grown-up aesthetic, if that makes sense.
Google is selling me short. I'm convinced that there must be better options out there than what I'm finding, but I'm starting to think I need to learn to sew so I can make my own. Has anyone seen the sort of thing I'm looking for?
Re: Designing Our Nursery (I need a professional shopper)
Check out etsy. They have many sellers who make custom bedding. Might not be the most cost effective, but if you're willing to spend a little more it's a good place to start.
I know this one is not "hawaiian" but it has similar colors that you're looking for.
ETA: here's another and I like this whale one

Since you're having boy/girl twins and doing a joint room, you could add mermaids and pirates to your under the sea theme.
Or you could do something really stylish and modern with this as your inspiration piece:
I'm picturing blue or white walls, warm brown-toned cribs, crisp blue and white bedding with orange trim.
There's tons of ocean-theme kid stuff here: https://www.rosenberryrooms.com/ocean-theme-room.html

I love the stripes!! McGee is very talented, I could totally move into her house it's decorated so perfectly. She has made idea boards for some of the mommies on this board and they've all been gorgeous. She's not allowed to pimp her professional abilities (nest/bump rules) - but that's not to say I can't!! I've never used her business myself but if you're interested you can probably page her or contact her through her personal website (in her siggy). One day McGee, you and I will make this little house of mine shine....
Haha, thanks! I did see McGee's signature, and loved her suggestions. (I love love triple love this one:)
I've also spent a lot of time now at https://www.ohdeedoh.com/
I particularly love this nursery:

I think I'd tweak the colors a bit, but I love the simplicity and more sophisticated look of that one.
So many great ideas. Y'all are the best! I've got about four months to figure it out and pull everything together - else the kids will be sleeping in laundry baskets for a while.

Twins are usually pretty tiny, you could probably stuff them in a pack n play for a while.
Taytee, thank you so much for the glowing commentary. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) I am not accepting clients right now. I'm completely swamped with both my "real" job, my kiddos and my decorating work. I'm working right now with a client on a very large and involved master bath remodel, and it's taking up most of my limited decorating schedule. I also have a few smaller scale decorating clients that I'm working with at the moment, so I likely won't be able to take on new clients until late summer or early fall.

My husband is convinced they'll be able to share a crib for at least the first five years.
Another good nursery inspiration link is: https://babyroombio.weebly.com/index.html. TONS of nursery photos of all different styles.
Congrats on your twins!
Same here.
Is the hubby freaking out over the cost of twins?

Sort of. We're a bit at a loss for what to do for child care! It makes sense financially for me to keep my job for the time being, but that by itself is a huge chunk of my income.
