Cloth Diapering

Just went on a spending spree...

Since I just started CDing and only have 4 diapers so far (2 FB, 2 Blueberry) I decided to finally just order a bunch of things so I can try more (and stop washing these ones over and over and over). I have been looking all week but finally just bought all of this:

Flip Day Pack (2 covers, 6 inserts)
Sbish fitted
2 BG4.0
2 medium and 1 small Planetwise wetbags
Thirsties Duo Wrap cover
Chubby Cherubs Honey Bun Drops
12 sweetbobbins cloth wipes (because I now see firsthand why using disposable wipes with CDs is gross when you have to separate them)

Maybe now I can stop obsessing over looking at this stuff and do something productive around the house!

ETA: Also found a promo code to get a free one-size diaper with my Kelly's Closet order, it says they pick the brand/style, so I'm interested to see what I get!

  • The more you buy, the more obsessive it becomes!  I haven't been productive in almost 3 months! :)

  • Welcome to the darkside...lol! I don't think I'll stop looking at diapers until my kids are both out of them!

  • have you thought about doing a trial? It's a good way to try a bunch of different types and brands without having to invest a lot of $. I did Jillian's Drawers 21 day trial (it's a$10 fee, and you keep what you want, they refund you for whatever you return) which was super helpful when I was deciding what to use. Jillian's also has a 30 day return policy on anything you buy from them (even if you use it, they give you a credit i think).

I thought about it and almost did it but decided they had kinds in there I was pretty sure I didn't want to try (prefolds, AIOs) and didn't have ones I knew I did want to, so I decided to go the a la carte mode. Unfortunately I am spending much more :/

I skipped the trial too!  You can always sell what you don't want/like! Your little guy is adorable btw!

  • I think that free one-size is supposed to have at least a $23 value so it should be a nice one!
