Can't believe it's taken me this long to visit this board.

I'm Jamie; I'm 38 & I gave birth to my son 2 weeks ago.

Some days I feel old. lol. Wish I were about ten years younger More tired than I've ever been in my life and completely overjoyed.

Hi!  Congratulations on your baby boy.  I am 42 and had my third baby in January.  I am with you on the tiredness and the joy.  Enjoy it.  The newborn stage passes so quickly (even if you don't believe it at the time).

Strunella: I delivered at Morristown, did you? We live in Rockaway. Do I sound like I'm desperately "shopping" for friends if I say I'd like to keep in touch, maybe one day if I'm ever awake again we could meet up with the babies?

Ha, ha!   Not desperate.  I don't really have many local mom friends with babies and am trying to meet some!  I'll email you so when you're ready for an escape, you'll have one.

I actually delivered at St. Barnabas in Livingston.

We can also commiserate on the sports rivalry in marriage...I am an Eagles fan and DH is a Giants fan.  Makes for an "interesting" fall!
