infant Tylenol or Motrin - which is better?

I tooootally forget from 3 years ago with DS (we don't give him meds very often these days), but is infant motrin or tylenol preferred for post-vaccination comfort? I want to have some at the ready for DD's 2 month shots coming up.

Tylenol. They are not supposed to have Motrin until they are at least 6 months old.

Yeah, I totes would have figured this out before I dispensed it!!! I remember that from DS way back when..  Thanks ladies!

My pedi said infant Tylenol isn't going to be available anymore and that ppl will have to use a smaller dose of children's Tylenol.

It isn't really recommended to use pain reliever before shots in anticipation of them, they can have an ill effect on the vaccinations (from what I've heard). If your LO is having discomfort afterward you could use it if your Pedi suggests it, but most likely you won't need anything.

For all of our shots, even up until the most recent 15 month shots, my DDs were fine shortly after it was over and either me or DH was holding them.
