? about forward-facing

We're heading on a long car trip (12 hours over two days) and we're going to have four adults in our Outback, plus J in his carseat. Would it be more comfortable in the back of the carseat was forward-facing? J will be six weeks from turning two at that point, so a little early but not terrible.

  • I actually think the adults will probably be more comfortable with the seat RF because they'll have more shoulder room.

    ditto!

I feel like we barely have a usable backseat anymore now that Warner is FF :-(

Plus, if J will be in the middle seat, your back seat passengers won't have to crane their necks to talk across/around J's carseat.  And I imagine J will be entertained to be facing two folks in the back seat where he won't have to crane his neck to look at them.
