A friend just named her little boy Kenai (keen-eye).  I've never heard that one before...

They did vacation in Alaska (it might be where they got engaged) - that could be it!  I wasn't familiar with the city.

Wheneverws someone names their kid after a vacation spot, I wonder if that is where the baby was concieved. Then I start picturing things...

This year one of my 8th graders name is Kenai.  He is AWFUL and has been suspended multiple times for fighting.  I am not sure if it is a good name or not, b.c I associate it with this kid and I cringe when I hear it!

I love love the name Kenai, I've never seen it used. It was in the movie Brother Bear as well

Ditto.  Met dogs named this before.  Think its cool for them, not so much on a person.  (And I like city names)
