Does your LO get motion sick?

Sorry to be a PW, but in response to my post below dundasgirl suggested I start a new post re motion sickness, which seemed like a good idea.

Here's the deal - DS projectile vomited in the car this morning.  I've posted in the past that he "throws up" every morning, but that's really just toddler spit-up, come to find out - this was VOMIT, everywhere.

We got him bathed, cleaned up, etc..  I gave him a few sips of water.  He was acting completely and totally fine - happy, laughing, etc.  So they left in my car and went on their way again.   

And it happened AGAIN.   Almost at the exact same point in the trip!

I have no idea what to make of this. 

Is there such a thing as sudden onset motion sickness?  He's never been bothered by travel before.  (He is still rear facing.) 

Or maybe it's just a stomach bug that's irritated by the motion?  He has *no* other symptoms.

Katen gets car sick all the time. Usually on longer trips, but today she got car sick on an errand run. I think today she was just overheated. Sometimes I can crack her window and get some air but usually it just delays the inevitable.
