XP: Is there such thing as a good, affordable double stroller?

Or am I just dreaming? I refuse to pay upwards of $400 for a double and don't really like the idea of a sit & stand (DS1 would just jump off if he wasn't strapped in).

Anyone have or know anything about the Joovy Scooter X2? I'd like something appropriate for walking (not necessary a jogger) that isn't too bulky.

TIA for any help! [I'm not actually going to have 2u2 but I thought this would be a good place to ask]

I have the combi twin sport that I got for under $200 on sale at BRU. I really like it, it's great for walking, and it's really lightweight.

Otherwise, definitely try craigslist for a used one.

I wanted to also save and bought the combi and hated it so I went out to buy the city mini and love it! HUGE difference. You can now get the 2010 model for 299.

This! I love my Baby Jogger City Mini. It's the best $299 I spent. I tried out a ton in the store and nothing came close.

I've heard great things about the combi twin sport from most people who own it, though not everyone loves it. I guess it all depends on what you are looking for. The combi appeals to me because I like the "side by side" style better, and I hate things that are overly bulky.
