crash course?

Can someone give me a little info on putting pics in my posts and how to make sure the size isnt all out of whack and such.. There are things I think would be nice to share from time to time but I think I keep doing something wrong. Forums are still new to mee lol Thanks a bunch

ETA: I was also wondering what the deal is with pinterest, for those that seem to be fans of it. I went to the site, is it just a place where you keep track of pics and things that you like/ want to share with others?

Re: crash course?

  • To PIP (picture in post) you get the URL location of the picture that you want to put up (you can take it from a Shutterfly or other photo sharing site, or upload individual pictures on www.tinypic.com) then click on the little green tree icon in the header of the message composition box and paste the url into the location bar.

You've got the idea on pinterest!  It's a way to keep track and share (and find) different things on the web, but you get to organize it and use images, which helps you remember and find things again!

  • Alternately, if you use Chrome, you can upload to tinypic at the right resolution (I normally use 300x400 or whatever it is) and then copy the fullsize uploaded picture and then paste it into the response window.
