I saw this on my BMB board and thought it was kinda cute.

Do you have a nickname for your LO?

Ours is "Wiggle". Started this week when I had an u/s and the baby was wiggling, it was so cute.

I refrained from any nickname for a while b/c last pg DH called my stomach "Kevin" and it stuck like glue. Wasn't even a name we liked at the time, it was just silliness... and then that was that babies name. This time I went with something actually silly, not just silly in DH and my way.

Awww, how funny!!! Our nickname is "Wiggler" too, because of the cute little wiggles they were doing on our ultrasound

My first nickname was "Rascal" because LO was making me so sick, but you can't be mad because it just means he/she is working hard in there!

We do not have one this time around yet (usually it's just "the babies" or "the twins"), but with my loss, on the same day I got my BFP, I got a new student in my class named Fred, so we had someone ended up calling him/her Fred, more or less as a joke... Cute name, but it's NMS.

Oh the names, our baby started off as lil' turkey, and then friends started calling him/her "Little T".  Most of the time I call our baby "the babe"...kinda like "the dude", lol.

At first the baby's nickname was Roo.  DH's name is Joey and baby kangaroos are called "joeys" so since I have a little "joey" inside of me it just kinda of stuck. 

Then when we had the NT scan the tech kept going over the baby's face and DH said it looked like the Predator because all you could see were the bones.  So the baby was Predator for a while. 

Now the baby is called Charlie since the baby's first name will be Charlene if it is a girl or the middle name will be Charles if it is a boy.

We call our baby The Cheat *points to avatar* after the Homestar Runner character.  It's morphed into other nicknames like Da Cheat and El Cheato, but usually it's just The Cheat.

Roo is super cute. MH's brother was Roo in utero and still goes by Rudy because of it.

I think of this LO as the bean.

Right now we call it Pipsqueak - but I like to think that it's still a work in progress.

I call my LO either "little one" when I'm talking about him/her with others, or "Monkey" when it's DH and I.

Fidget.

When he first started moving I told DH he better not be a fidget like his father is.  DH always has a foot wiggling or the like.  Drives me crazy!  So far fidget has kind of stuck...at least until we figure out a real name.

Currently ours is "The Zygote" or Ziggy for short.  I'm not sure what it will change to once it grows to be a fetus but I already told DH that Cletus would not be acceptable!

DH used to joke he wanted to name his kids really ridiculous things, and Cletus was for the boy...and he couldn't pass up the opportunity to start referring to the kiddo as Cletus the Fetus. It's ridiculous, but it has completely stuck. One of our friends even asks me regularly how little Cletus is doing. 

Aluenna I didn't even see that you called your baby Cletus before I wrote my response!  Awesome!

We call our LO "Bug" because that's exactly how it looked at our first u/s at 7 weeks.  It's just kind of stuck.  DH is convinced it's a girl but since we're not finding out I guess he'll have to wait until December to see

At the beginning, this LO was "Little Punkin'".  DH & I like to call eachother Punkin' (I know, gag) & so it was a natural NN.    

But lately I mostly refer to her as "Baby" or "the baby".  We're fairly sure we have her actual name picked out, but for some reason I'm scared to use it.  However, when I e-mail DH, I'll still sign it at the end with "LP" for Little Punkin'.
