A lot of people have nicknames for their unborn baby until the time he/she arrives and even after birth. I have found myself calling this one peanut, so I think peanut will be the nickname. When we found out we were pregnant, DH wanted to nickname the baby squirt lol.
The nickname will also come in handy since we are not sharing the name of this baby (if it's a girl) since the name will have a significant meaning to my family and I want them to find out when the baby is born. But if it's a boy, well we don't have a name yet lol
Do you have a nickname for your LO? Are you planning on keeping the name a secret or sharing?

No nickname yet... nothing seems right.
We are not sharing the name until baby is born.
We have pretty well settled on Little Bean, though the occasional Peanut gets thrown in there too.
Same boat as a lot of families - we will share the sex, but not the name or name options. DH and I decided not to name Little Bean until he/she is born. We don't want to peg the baby with Susan and she ends up looking like a Molly.
We have been joking around calling it Cletus (the fetus) or Baby Gaga
My Mom calls it Cupcake which is cute.

Dream of a better world...where chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned.
We always have a nickname because with the first two we didn't share the sex or names, and with the third we didn't know the sex. We aren't planning to find out so we'll need a nickname. So far our son has given his choices, but our daughter hasn't. His choices are Pablo, Beachy, and Blue baby.
We never share the names before birth...and then we don't even share the name we didn't use! Too many opinionated people in our family!
No nickname. We just call it "baby" or "it". Yep, we're boring.
Like others have posted, we call ours Little Peanut or Little Bean.
We're having a hard time deciding on names (DH is so stubborn!), but I've been sharing the options with close friends and family. Some give opinions (thanks, mom), but it won't really effect the outcome.
This little one started out as Mutant (due to high betas and an initial u/s that indicated the possibility of twins, but ended up as one super, mutant baby), then morphed into Bacon, then Bacon Nugget, then Mutant Bacon Nugget. This all happened in the first week or two, btw.
Since week 5 or 6, we've settled on Nugget. We probably won't find out the sex, so we'll be saying Nugget until December.
I find this funny. My brother calls our LO Blobby H because the first US picture isn't exactly clear. It was perfect on the monitor, but of course, pictures aren't the same size! My husbands name is also missing the "L" is his name!
Otherwise, we refer to our LO as "jellybean". My SIL came up with it as a code name when I told her, but was keeping it from other friends/family until the timing was right. We are going to find out the sex, and have pretty much narrowed down 1 name for a each gender. I am pretty sure that we will tell our family the name too. We have very creative people on both sides, so if they want to make something and include the name, I would like them to be able to do so!
We started calling the LO dino nugget. We just said nugget until my m/s started getting bad. DH said it was because the baby was roaring, so I started calling him/her dino nugget. The best part is now my entire family uses that name. I get daily texts from my sis asking if DN roared today.
Although occasionally we call it rubber duck because in the first US pic the baby seriously looks like a duck.
We do have names picked out already. We have about 10 but we're fairly certain about the two we'd like to use (one for a boy, one for a girl). Like a PP, we will probably not be sharing the name because my family is super opinionated. I hate secrets though, so I may change my mind. If I do it will be probably over the phone so I don't have to see faces, and the understanding will be that I don't want to hear any crap because it's not up for discussion. Others can love/hate the names as they choose. It took DH and I forever to agree on names and we're not changing just because it's not someone else's favorite.

This. I'm glad to see so many who are finding out gender but not telling names. Our families are making us feel so bad for not telling them the names but frankly we don't want to have to listen to everyone's opinion about the name.
Sometimes we call it baby alien peanut because that's kinda what it looked like in the beginning.
