Never thought this day would come- my it gets better post

I think I'm one of the few that complained like crazy. Ever since the boys hit 5 months, everything has become more fun. Smiles, laughs, interaction. It's a constant playdate with my guys. They're still not completely STTN and coopers surgery wasn't fun but overall life is better!!! The boys love to stick their hands in my mouth and on my face, they grab my shirt or finger while they're eating. I'm really feeling connected with them. Being a MoM is pretty sweet and beyond rewarding. Just thought I'd share. I always saw these posts but never thought I'd get here!

I'm not quite there yet, but I think it's because the girls appear to be starting the teething process (it seems way early, but I don't know what else it could be). But when they're not screaming their heads off, they're pretty cool lately. I love the laughs and the smiles.

DH and I were talking about this today.  We can't believe how calm and laid back they are these days.  I will be doing something thinking they are both asleep, but I will look at them and one of them is awake, just laying there staring at her feet.  They have been cooing a whole lot too, which is pretty much my favorite!!  I love them so much!

Yay!!!  (Says the Mommy rocking two babies on her lap with her legs while she bumps) LOL  I can't complain my girls have been pretty good but we have our days/nights!  Looking forward to more interaction, smiles and coos though!

Just wait until they can start communicating with you. Oh, and the day they say 'mama'. --melts my heart---

It does get better, hang in there! I have so few memories from birth-6 months, it was just so stinking difficult. Take a lot of pictures and videos.

That is great! I don't think I could say that til 9 months but our sleep issues pretty much eclipse(d) everything in our lives I think...and unfortunately 'ohhh now I see where it can be fun and not totally stressful all the time' just recently crossed my mind for the first time at 21-22 months so I'm glad it is not that way for most

And as fun as 5 months is, 6 months is even better!  It just keeps getting more and more fun.

Even though with each new stage there are different challenges, I have found that they just keep getting more and more fun. (guessing that will change sometime around puberty). DH and I always look at each other and say how much fun these boys are. Enjoy!

That is so awesome! They do get so much easier and funner the older they get. Yes, there are new challenges, but you're not trying to deal with them while sleep deprived
