Today, a cicada started crawling up my neck. In my store. In front of a customer. I screamed, really, really, really loud. And had a mild seizure. Which resulted in a huge scratch on my face.

I would have FREAKED out. I HATE bugs. I used to work at a bank and a teller opened a deposit bag, reached in to grab the money and got a cricket. I thought that was bad, but your story is worse!
Sunday D and I went on a walk. A cicada got onto the stroller but I kept my cool bc I knew it'd fly away. Then I looked down and D had one in her hand!!!!! After freaking out and getting it out of her hand, we turned around!!
I thought everybody had cicadas or katydids or whatever you call them in your part of the country. They come out every thirteen years in droves, swarms, colonies, hitcock-esque hoards.... you get the picture.

I'll take cicadas over the f***ing stink bug infestation! At least cicadas stay outside instead of trying to find any possible way into your house! I don't go one day (rarely an hour) without having to either vacuum one up or bother DH to get them! GAH!
(Can you tell I'm more than fed up with them? lol)
Well, I like HEARING them. I love that sounds of all the bugs singing at dusk. It's one of the few things I like about summer. If one ever got on me, though, I think I would lose my shiit.

Nope. We do not have bugs in Washington.
I love the sound of cicadas though when I visit the south. Not sure I would be a fan of them flying around or touching me.
