Does Fenugreek ALWAYS make you smell like syrup?

I've tried taking it on & off with blessed thistle- up to 3 pills/ 4 times a day. This is the upper end of what kellymom recommends. I haven't noticed a maple syrup smell- does that mean I still need MORE? Or does it just not work for some people?

My supply is about dead even with what LO consumes- I used to have a few oz left over to freeze! So it's not a huge deal if it doesn't work, but it'd be nice!

From what I've read, you smell like maple syrup once you have the right concentration in you.  My OB also told me that if the 3pills/4X a day didn't up my supply, I could go up to 4pills/4X a day.

Hmm...when I took it I didn't smell like maple syrup, so maybe I wasn't taking enough?  It didn't help me.

When I have taken it, it did help me and it did not make me smell like syrup.  The people I talked to (LC and pedi) both said it could happen, but I don't think either said it was supposed to happen.

I smell maple syrupy.  But, I REALLY have to work to smell it (like nose all the way in my armpit).  My urine doesn't smell like it.  I am taking 2 pills 3 times a day.
