DS is still having trouble w/ what we think is reflux/projectile vomiting after & during feeds. He's been on Zantac 2ml 2x a day for a month and still has a couple big vomiting episodes a week. We took him to the pedi today for a follow up and he's lost 2 ounces in the past two weeks
I'm so sad....he's gone from below the 5th percentile at birth to the 75th percentile at 9 mos and now he's losing weight from all this. Breaks my heart. It's like he dreads mealtimes now....we put them in their high chairs and he just looks at me with this sad face like, "please don't make me eat again". Ugh.
So now we're going to try Prilosec. And it's a compounded liquid, so we'll be paying out the a$$ for it, not covered by insurance. I hope it helps.

Has anyone mentioned Prevacid to you? We went from Zantac to Prevacid because it was so much more affordable than the Prilosec. It is a tablet that you dissolve in water and administer through an oral syringe. Jack got so much better once he started on the Prevacid. He would take that in the morning and then 1ml of the zantac at night. Improvement was DRAMATIC!
Good luck to you
