Longest wait at the dr's office EVER, but the u/s showed a baby with a heartbeat (which is good) that was measuring exactly on time (which is better!). I was so nervous they were going to tell me that it was measuring 2 weeks behind or something (like last time) which I would have *known* what that meant since I know exactly when my dates are (ovulation and whatnot).
So I feel a smidgen better, though I don't think I'll feel 100% confident until I have a couple more check ups that go that well. They plan to see me and do an u/s every 2 weeks until 2nd tri due to my history AND the bleeding. For now I'm on pelvic rest and was told to try my best not to lift Noah. Pssh. Yeah. Ok.
Sorry it took me so long to post this- I was at the dr for almost 2 hours then had to get my aunt to go to school with me to turn in my key and load all of the boxes in my car (my 16 year old brother took Noah to Chick-Fil-A to eat and play- that must've worn him OUT bc he fell asleep as soon as we pulled out of their driveway to come home! haha). So now I'm home, done with school, probably skipping the staff cookout tonight (just don't feel up to it) and packing for the beach. Thanks for all the t&p's and well wishes! Hopefully this baby is gonna stick around for another 34 some-odd weeks!

Re: Sheesh!

SOOOO glad to hear (read?) from you! I was so worried when I realized how late it was getting.
Relax and put your feet up, mama. Enjoy your much deserved break at the beach and know that we are still praying for you.
Excellent news!

(hugs) Thank goodness! Continued T&P that you have a long road of baby gestating ahead of you!
Don't know if this helps at all, but I had bleeding on and off the first 2 tri's with #1 because of a low lying placenta. I hope it is something as innocuous as that that corrects itself and stops giving you mini-heart attacks (freaked me out every time). (hugs) And YAY!
See, I had bleeding in the 1st tri with BOTH previous pregnancies- one totally successful and one not. I guess this is just my "normal". Pretty sucky "normal", but oh well. I think I will feel better if/when I go in for the next u/s and the baby has grown 2 weeks worth. The last pregnancy, I had 3 u/s where I saw a hb, but each time they were like "hmm... the baby seems a bit small" so I guess just want to see proof of growth!

Yay for a heartbeat!
I had major bleeding with L at 8 weeks and freaked out because of my miscarriage before I got pg with her. It was a subchorinic hematoma and all was fine but the bleeding was very upsetting after a m/c. I'm glad to hear everything is ok.
whew! glad it went well.
Are they having you do progesterone or anything?
Big E (6) & Little E (2.5)
