not knowing you're pregnant until you're in labor (or pushing out the baby). Both pregnancies for me (I'm nearly 16 weeks pregnant now with #2) have been obvious. . .because I puke my guts out for the whole first trimester. Also, Zoe moved and kicked A TON! I understand how bigger gals may not look pregnant, but don't they feel it??? I also know the mind can be powerful when it comes to denial, but it's just so strange to me. Thoughts?

I think it is odd myself. But, I can somewhat see where this happens. If a woman is larger, and her menstrual cycle is not normal, then she probably doesn't question additional weight gain and the continued absence of her period. Add to that, if she doesn't have an active baby.
Can you imagine the surprise?!
I seriously do not understand it. I think a lot of it is really denial. I think they really know but act like they don't (like b/c they don't want to be pregnant i.e. too young). I don't know.
We've seen a big increase in this recently in our ER. I wonder if you are too bobs, since you're wondering....
