wanted to answer your questions about the Glumetza, I had to run yesterday and I stay busy.

Firsttogo- yes that was my problem on Metformin. It was awful and couldn't eat foods I love. Now I can eat anything I want with just a few problems here and there, but nothing like before.

 marcuej- I believe it is a bit more expensive, but my doc gave me coupons for the first year on it and they will cover up to $50 per RX! Maybe you can get the same deal.

Thanks!  Glad to hear it's working for you.  I never really had too many issues with regular Met so I'm going to give it a shot again.  In fact, I'm heading out to pick up my rx in a few.  However, it's good to know there are other options cause I'm not sure how my body will react now that I've had kids.

Have you noticed any weight loss since getting back on met?  I sure hope that's one of the benefits I see.  I'm having a helluva time losing weight even though I'm exercising regularly and eating well.  So frustrating!

Honestly I don't know, I have been doing weight watchers since I started met. I would think it's not hurting:)

I will swear by WW, the online is so easy! I feel great!

How much have you lost?  I know lots of gals in my office have done WW with huge success!

16.3 pounds, I slacked off awhile but I am back on track! I've dropped 2 sizes!

The online tool is awesome and the recipes are yummy!

Wow!  Good for you.  That's really great!  I would love to get back in more of my old clothes.  2 pregnancies in a year have really messed with my body.  I hate feeling this way!

I hear you loud and clear, twin pregnancy is definitely not easy on the body since I gained 80 pounds, they kept me eating to fatten Cali up and having NO activity while pregnant killed me. And the pretty c-section scar does not help matters either!

give WW a try, I don't think you will regret it. I have 3 weeks until my NKOTB nashville trip:) Trying to be fit for it:) hahah

Thanks for the resopnse! My OB is being wierd about putting me on Met, or anything, and I am thinking I need to talk to an endo. 

And congrats on the weight loss. I am currently at my heaviest, and need to do something!

I see an endo for my thyroid issues and she has put me on the met! I didn't even think about asking my OB.
