As long as you have the app that the book is available on, I think so. I use ibooks which doesn't include as many books as, say, kindle, I think, but there is a free kindle app as well.

Ditto this -- you can also get ebooks in a pdf format and use other pdf readers to read them. Just another option and often free books are available that way. I love the kindle app and ibooks. The Nook app is not as great IMO.

I tried iBooks but their selection stinks. So I got the borders app and bought a book (PDF) $16 later I can't read it on my iPad . All I get is "apple restricts the use of adobe flash" which is the story of my life on the iPad. Most things I want to do I can't w/o flash or I have to download an app forevery different thing I want to do.which just seems silly and time consuming.
Re: Ipad - can you put any ebook on it?
