Refusing Bottle?

DD has been refusing the bottle for us lately, It is a task to get her to finish her bottles we feed her. Any advice on how to deal with this?

 

One thing I was thinking was that she just loves food and is self-weening off formula... But I know the nutritional value of the formula is important to her so I just keep trying to give it to her... The other thing I was thinking is she likes to feed herself? This morning DH was trying to feed her the bottle and she was refusing, 20 mins later, she was sitting in her rock n play watching signing time and I gave her the bottle and she downed it?

 

Thoughts?

    Sounds like she is Miss Independent.  If she would rather feed the bottle to herself, why not let her.

    I would let her do it herself... You could also try giving it to her in a sippy cup..the ones with the straws are great for beginners.

    Thanks everyone for the advice! I think I am going to try a sippy cup! We have several kinds and have tried them and she doesnt get the sucking thing just yet... so not sure how to deal with that. Any thoughts on that?
