So six kids under 3...in a 2 bedroom apartment and no family nearby.  Yowza!

That's quite amazing.

  • Aside from running away screaming, that is quite a miracle they have!  Not sure how they're going to manage 6 kids under 3 in a 2 bedroom apartment with no van.  Hopefully the community will read this story and provide them with some assistance - if nothing else, volunteers to come in to hold and feed the babies.  Wow!

  • lol @ Orange smoke.  :)

How overwhelming! No doubt they'll need good thoughts and prayers.

Have any of you seen the show on TLC (I think) about the Minnesota Quads? They were spontaneous too. I cannot watch the show because they are 4 girls and they all fight constantly. It's too stressful to watch.

    Um...I...well...

I was their nanny for their entire lives.

I know it looks like they fight all the time, and they do fight just like any other teenage siblings, but production ran for nearly 5 months and they edited that down to 3 hours worth of shows. I assure you that they are lovely girls.

WOW, What a small world!  I agree about the girls coming off as kind of nasty to each other, but always figured that was production like you said. I do find it funny that the brother lives in the garage (do I have that right or is it a cotage out back?) away from all the girls.

As for the family mentioned above. Wow just wow. Am I the only one who is bugged by the mom stressing they wanted a girl? I wonder if I am just overly sensitive to that, cause it ticked me off.

He doesn't live in the garage like they make it look like :-) It's just where he hangs out. He is very hands on and can fix anything, it just makes sense that he would spend a ton of time in there. He's a great kid. Really funny and sweet.

I see it more as her trying to justify the questions that people will inevitably ask about why they'd have a third child if they only have a two bedroom apartment. People are judgy and also most likely assume the quads are a result of fertility treatments and she's probably just a bit defensive about it.
