I usually season it, then throw it in the crock pot with a can of beef broth and some onions, but I am looking for something a little different. How do you do it?
I bought the season packet in the spice aisle for "slow cooker pot roast". Place your potatoes & carrots in bottom of crock or nesco, then put your chuck roast on top, I had a 2.6lb one. Then mis the seasoning packet with 1 Cup water & pour over all of it. Cover & slow cook for 9hrs or I have a nesco & slow cooked on 225 for 5 hours. Meat was very tender!

I use chuck roast 3lbs

I sprinkle a packet of onion soup mix over the roast, then the coke
