Honestly we mostly use it for G to watch shows on. But (don't judge) we use it every day, twice a day for almost two hours a day.
When we've gone out of town, we still have had to bring the laptops since our work is on them but DH used it as his kindle one night in the hotel and I've played games on it in the car when G was sleeping. We could use it a lot more than we do, but for us it has been worth every penny just to get G into her carseat and sustain during longer car rides (we have an hour commute to daycare each morning)

We use it mostly fosusan surfing in the family room. It's bigger and easier to use than our phones, but not as big and heavy as our laptop, which we now just leave in the office. When we travel we use it for white noise in our room so we don't have to pack 2 white noise machines.
Love!!! We use it more than any of our lap tops. Surfing the net, email & reading mostly. We have tons of books & movies on there which come in very handy for trips. DH also puts my GH eppy's on it when I am behind and need to catch up so I can either bring it to work or watch them on trips. DS loves it too. The baby apps are really cute on it. We are Apple lovers though. We are trying to refrain from getting the iPad 2 but I don't think we are going to be able to hold out.

Use it for internet surfing/facebook/email if I'm somewhere in the house other than the TV room or bedroom (where we keep our laptops) or if DH is using the computer. Use it as an e-reader for both books (ibooks) and periodicals (Slate, NYT, WSJ apps, Zinio for magazines) both at home and out and about (it's great at the OB's office where I often have a long wait). Play games. Bring it to restaurants for when Toodle gets antsy so he can play his apps (he has many) or watch a movie (we have a couple Disney movies downloaded onto it).

WSS! All of this and more. I read a lot of blogs on it because Wordpress blogs especially read really nicely. I also play games and when I can I read. Usually DD will see it and want to play with it but that's fine with me too. She has a lot of flashcards and ABC/123 type things on there plus a ton of interactive books. She's loving a new Elmo app I got her that works on ABCs.

Right now my best boys, DS and DH, are doing math! Honestly DH got it without me knowing, loaded it with educational games for DS-4, now they play with it ALL the time. I'm a bit jealous of their time together as DS only wants one book instead of 4 before bed. Just from the kiddo perspective it's worth every penny.
