XP from July 2011- Tyler Update...

Tyler has had a great past few days in the NICU. He is off of his oxygen now and in an open air crib! They increased his feedings to 38ml and they have started to let us try bottle feeding him. He is still learning, but has actually started to swallow some of his food! He is just adorable. He is now 4 lbs 4oz. (he was 3lb 10 oz at birth).

He still has a ways to go, but he has made a lot of progress and has been such a fighter throughout everything. His nurses are great with him and it is reassuring to know how much the medical staff care about him in the NICU. I just hope he gets to come home soon. It's so hard leaving him every time we visit
