The name Nevaeh

I know it's so very popular.  I have a niece with this horrible name and I met a cute little baby girl with this name.

But it made me think.  Nevaeh is going to be so popular people will start saying, "Her name is Heaven, it's Nevaeh spelled backwards." Stick out tongue

    It's one of my least favorite names. It looks ugly, sounds ugly, and is the meaning behind it is stupid.

    I really hope not. My LEAST favourite thing about this name is when parents give it to their daughter and spell it Neveah. That defeats the entire purpose of the name, which isn't that great to start of with. I'm going to name my daughter Legna, because it's Angel spelled backwards.

    This name is ridiculous.  This does not make it cute or okay, it makes it worse.

    I actually graduated with a girl named Traeh. Pronounced Tray-uh. ICK.

    There was a gal on Maury who wanted to name her baby Nevaeh Tnes Legna - Ugh.  We also know a gal who was feeling creative and decided to capitalize the V - NeVaeh.  Isn't that pretty?

    How is Nevaeh pronounced? It's part of my cousin's kid's name, but I've never heard it spoken. Is it Nev-AY (long a) or Nev-AY-uh?

    I realize this is probably a stupid question, and I could just ask my cousin, but that would involve actually speaking to my cousin, and I'd rather not do that.

    Nev-ay-uh. It sucks because before the Nevaeh craze, I loved Navae (na-vay). Completely ruined it for me!

    The sucky part of it is my name always brought into it. O grew up thinking Legna was an insult.
