consigning question

so I've gone through all of our newborn and 0-3 mos clothes that Kellen has outgrown and we will no longer need.....I know I can consign the fall/winter clothes at one of the upcoming fall/winter consignment sales....but what about the summer stuff?  I saw that sweet repeats is taking summer stuff through this month....so should I go through them or should I try to sell them on craigslist or do I wait until a spring/summer consignment sale?  Just wondering what y'all have tried and had the best luck with.  TIA!

Re: consigning question

  • I think sweet repeats is full for the spring/summer.  You can call to check, but I had the same question about a month ago and they were full.  Honestly, I figured out that it was better for me to just take the clothes to goodwill and take tax break  I have no storage space so that was part of my issue.

  • You could probably try craigslist or ebay if consignment shops are full, but I have never had a lot of luck getting a good price or even selling clothes that small.  People get that size a lot for gifts so not a lot of people are looking to buy it.   I have better luck with anything 6-12 months and up.
