After an ER visit to CHOP on Monday to loosen the left leg of her cast (we were losing circulation in her foot because of a growth spurt), I've been looking forward to "new cast day".
We're Scheduled to be there at 6am, and actually got out of the house on time. It's a miracle. She refused the pedialyte and water this time, so she hasn't had anything since 3. I hope she sleeps the whole way, so she doesn't eventually realize she's hungry, since she was so tired she didn't even finish that bottle. We've been looking at pictures from 6weeks ago and it's scary how much she's grown. She can't be comfortable. Hopefully a new cast will help her sleep Better and eat better than she has been.
AB will have updates. I'll text her as soon as I know anything
it's general anesthesia, the arthrograms again (where they inject the dye) and a new cast. She should be under about 90-120 minutes. Hopefully they'll give her a mini bath too. Prayers requested ladies. I hate leaving her in the OR.
